Fixed Equipment

Inspecting The Worlds Fixed Equipment Everyday

Exchangers, Boilers, Pipelines, Valves, Tanks & Heaters must be inspected. Thats why we’re here.

Pressure Vessel Inspections

Based on the ASME Code Section VIII, pressure vessels are containers for the containment of pressure, either internal or external.

This pressure may be obtained from an external source, or by the application of heat from a direct or indirect source, or any combination thereof.

PSC Worldwide is an authorized Inspection Agency for pressure vessel definitions, scope, and boundaries based on ASME and API codes which specifically focus on pressure vessel inspections.

Heat Exchanger Inspections

Shell and Tube heat exchangers are the most popular type in the industry. This type is made from 3 components

  1. Two heads, one rear head and the other one stationary head
  2. Shell
  3. Tube

One fluid is in the tube side and the other one in the shell side. The heat transfer is done through tube wall.

PSC Worldwide specializes in Shell & Structure in Heat Exchanger, Bonnet Inspection, Tube Bundle, Channel, Channel Cover, Floating Head & Expansion Joints.

Steam Boiler Inspection

PSC inspection of boilers and boiler testing in a construction shop, as well as boiler in-service inspection in operational plants.

  • Inspection and Testing During the Manufacturing Phase
  • Inspection and Testing During the Operation Phase
  • Steam Boiler Codes and Regulations
  • Maintenance and Repairs

PSC Worldwide is familiar with all the aspects of Boiler inspection from the internal sections to the stacks and silencers.

Storage Tank Inspection

There are two kinds of storage tanks, the Atmospheric Storage Tank and the Low Pressure Storage tank.

Atmospheric storage tanks are used for storing crude oil, heavy oil, gas oils, furnace oils, naphtha, gasoline, non-volatile chemicals. Low pressure storage tank are used for storing light crude oil, some gasoline blending stock, light naphtha, pentane, some volatile chemicals, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen.

PSC Worldwide is certified to inspect every aspect of storage tanks including Internal and external inspection of the roof, shell, walls, equipment, and the plates.

Pipeline Inspection

Our inspection services cover both of new construction and in-service inspection. The welding inspection are done by certified CWI inspectors and coating inspection are done by certified NACE inspectors.

We cover both long term and short term assignments. We have strong network of certified inspector that enable us to quote for your enquiry in a shortest time.

PSC provides inspections based on the requirements of ASME B31.4 standard for pipeline transportation systems for liquid hydrocarbons and other liquids and ASME B31.8 standard for gas transmission and distribution piping systems. All referenced codes and regulatory requirements in both standards also are considered in our inspection activities.

Piping System Inspection

The construction code for process piping is ASME B31.3 Code and it covers the minimum requirements for design, materials, fabrication, inspection, testing, and commissioning.

PSC Worldwide has qualified, certified inspectors. A piping inspection procedure is a comprehensive document, which need to cover inspection methods to be employed, equipment and material to be used, qualification of PSC Inspectors involved and the sequence of the inspection activities at the minimum.

Industrial Valve Inspection

PSC Worldwide covers all the necessary stages in the production of the valves, from the examination of certification of procurement sources to the final inspection, preservation and packing, to the dispatch to site.

It is particularly suitable for the inspection of Gate, Globe, Ball and Check valves. The pressure safety valve is a direct, spring-loaded pressure-relief valve that is opened by the static pressure upstream of the valve and is characterized by a rapid opening or pop action.
